Posture Clinic with Diane Ducharme - November 22nd 11:30 am - 3:45 pm Class 4:30pm
This 4 hour workshop will go through all 26 postures in depth. You will learn more about the medical benefits of the postures, the right way to approach the postures and how to get full benefits from each posture. If you have any question about your ability or your practice Diane is a great person to learn from.
 Diane
is a senior Bikram Yoga teacher endorsed by Bikram to conduct seminars,
workshops and posture clinics around the world. She took her first
Bikram yoga class in 1985 with her original teacher Madelyn Mederois.
She began teaching the yoga shortly after having learned the series and
long before formal teacher training was available. When Bikram started
his teacher certification program in 1994, Diane rearranged her life
and went to his second training in January 1995. She was taught
directly by Bikram how to read bodies, how to teach with positive
outcomes, and how important this yoga is to the human body, mind and
soul. She continues to teach Bikram yoga the very same way she was
taught. Diane continues to study with him every year and is on staff at
the Bikram Yoga Teacher Training. She is owner/director of Bikram Yoga
For You in West Roxbury MA.

This exact technique and series of fixed poses brings better health to anyone willing to try it. The Bikram series of yoga postures when done in the prescribed order works synergistically to bring your body into optimal balance. Yoga is a 5000-year-old science and it is the best way of improving the body and the mind. When practicing the Bikram series, you have a physical and mental well-being that positively affects the way you see yourself in the world.

This is the original HOT YOGA. The yoga room is intentionally heated to 105 degrees to promote weight loss, keep the muscles warm (to allow for deeper and safer stretching), increase the heart rate for a better cardiovascular workout, and cleanse the body of toxins through sweat.
